The final pieceĀ one encounters on a walk out to the end of the pier, the Compass Rose was a symbol used in old sailor tattoos to make sure they could always find their way home.

It orients the visitor in space, pointing to true North, giving meaning to the directions on all the different elements along the way. Looking out at the Boston skyline across the harbor, you are now also aware of the places we’re connected to all over the world.
