Unity and opposition

At the heart of everything, in a sense, we are all math. This series began in a way when I was a child, I enjoyed drawing geometric shapes and spirals as art. A well-meaning art teacher convinced me to stop, and to focus on realism. Years later I saw the work of Hilma Af Klint, which convinced me it was okay to revisit those reveries. From the graphs of waves to the paths of particles, these paintings are an intuitive expression of structures of the universe, suffused with the colors that bring me joy.
